At Take The Leads we are dedicated to keeping up to date with first aid and the behaviour of both dogs, cats and other small animals.
In the unlikely event that your dog is injured during our care, we are qualified to administer treatment until we can get them to a fully qualified veterinary surgery. We will have your own Vet on file and will take them straight there if appropriate, 🐾
SAFETY FIRST
DO NOT GIVE YOUR DOG RAWHIDE AT ANY TIME!
Rawhide is not digestible so can build up in the stomach and also cause damage to the intestine. Eventually a vet will have to operate to remove it. Rawhide should be banned! - In addition, please do not give your dog Turkey or Chicken bones, they can splinter like timber and can cause severe internal damage. - Other cooked bones are also dangerous and very sharp and can lodge in the gums. - Chocolate should also be avoided as this is highly toxic.
If you want to treat your pets, please only buy Pet safe treats from a good pet shop or Vet clinic.
